Frameless Windows: Real Glass Window Systems

Features of our Real Glass Frameless Window Systems:

• Window with vehicle safety glass, mounted on an outer pane resting flat on the vehicle body, without visible frame guide, with optional shape of the outer surface. Made to customer specifications in mm increments.
• Available either with single toughened safety glass or insulated (double) toughened safety glass.
• Simple installation due to the completely circumferential guide and mounting frame on the inside of the window (adapted to the side wall window cut-out).
• Lightweight construction, depending on the total window size, a 4 or 5 mm thick outer pane is used.
• All pane edges with silkscreen printing, ending in a dot grid in the vision areas, in automotive design. Standard silkscreen printing in black, other colours and additional text and logos are possible.
• Windows can be optimally adjusted to the existing design elements of the vehicle front (front mask), driver's cab and adjacent vehicle body. Available as separate elements.
• In combination with additional glass elements, ribbon windows spanning the entire vehicle length can be installed.
• In order to limit the variety of designs, only those available on the market can be used. For any possible new design, a minimum annual demand of 100 windows is required!

Frameless Windows: Fixed Windows and Sliding Windows

Features of our Real Glass Fixed and Sliding Windows:

• Fixed and sliding windows made to customer specifications in mm increments.
• Available either with single toughened safety glass or insulated (double) toughened safety glass.
• Simple installation due to the completely circumferential guide and mounting frame on the inside of the window (adapted to the side wall window cut-out).
• Lightweight construction, depending on the total window size, a 4 or 5 mm thick outer pane is used. For the sliding pane, either a weight-optimised 4mm single toughened safety glass pane or, for the insulated version, 2 x 3mm individual toughened safety glass panes are used.
• Vision areas and the sliding window function are completely independent of the outer design.
• The windows can be manufactured for both manual and electric operation.

Frameless Windows: Hinged Windows

Features of our Real Glass Hinged Windows:

• Hinged windows made to customer specifications in mm increments.
• Only available with insulated (double) toughened safety glass.
• Simple installation due to the completely circumferential guide and mounting frame on the inside of the window (adapted to the side wall window cut-out).
• Lightweight construction, depending on the total window size, a 4 or 5 mm thick outer pane is used. For the hinged pane, only a weight-optimised version with 2 x 3mm individual toughened safety glass panes is used, panes slightly tinted.
• Vision areas and the sliding window function are completely independent of the outer design.
• Handling and locking elements (fittings) made entirely of high-quality stainless steel investment castings.
• Stay function with patented MEKUWA Klick-Klack window stays.

Frameless Window: Glass Elements

Features of our Glass Elements with Real Glass:

• Element with window cut-out, suitable for any hinged window size, or as complete pane.
• Only with 4mm vehicle safety glass, with silkscreen printing over the entire surface.
• Without additional mounting frame, for flat gluing on the vehicle side wall.

• Aluminium frame window with vehicle safety glass.
• Made to customer specifications in mm increments.
• Available either with single toughened safety glass or insulated (double) toughened safety glass.
• Simple installation due to the completely circumferential guide and mounting frame on the inside of the window (adapted to the side wall window cut-out).
• Lightweight construction, with 4mm individual toughened safety glass panes or 12mm insulating glass with 2 x 3mm single toughened safety glass panes.
• Single panes optionally with silkscreen printing, insulating glass panes always with silkscreen printing edges in automotive design. Standard silkscreen printing in black, other colours and additional text and logos are possible.
• In order to limit the variety of designs, only those available on the market can be used for versions with silkscreen printing. For any possible new design, a minimum annual demand of 100 windows is required!
• In addition, all insulated aluminium frame profiles are specially protected against aluminium/filiform corrosion by pre-anodisation.

Frame Windows: Fixed Windows and Sliding Windows

• Available either with single toughened safety glass or insulated (double) toughened safety glass.
• Optionally available in standard aluminium frame technology, or cold bridge-free in insulated aluminium frame.
• Easy to install due to a combined guide and mounting frame or window profile, adapted to the respective side wall window cut-out.
• Lightweight construction, with 4mm individual toughened safety glass panes or 12mm insulating glass with 2 x 3mm single toughened safety glass panes.
• Manual operation of the sliding window with additional locking facility.
• The highest quality (fully insulated) windows can also be manufactured with electric operation facility.
• For special use in the driver's cab area, there is a freely accessible emergency release on the drive gear of the electric operating unit for switching to simple manual operation.

Features of our Real Glass Hinged Windows:

• Hinged windows with aluminium frame, fully insulated, made to customer specifications in mm increments.
• Only available with insulated (double) toughened safety glass.
• Easy to install due to a combined guide and mounting frame or window profile, adapted to the respective side wall window cut-out.
• Lightweight construction, 12mm insulating glass with 2 x 3mm single toughened safety glass panes, 12 mm total pane thickness, panes slightly tinted.
• All panes with automotive silkscreen printing, starting over the entire surface on the edges and ending in a dot grid in the vision areas.
• Handling and locking elements (fittings) made entirely of high-quality stainless steel investment castings.
• Stay function with patented MEKUWA Klick-Klack window stays.

Special Designs: Real Glass Window Systems

With the various window systems available, different sliding and hinged windows can be produced according to customer specifications and in very small quantities.

For example, interior, alcove and sloping windows as well as aluminium frame windows suitable for installation in an entrance door have already been designed and produced.

It is also possible to produce plastic/acrylic glass panes on request if there is an annual demand for certain quantities.
